Romeka has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than seven  innings every time she's  pitched this season. Romeka was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Romeka wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Brandy Temple, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Coastal Academy has  fallen quite a ways from their 19-7-1 record last season and are now  at 4-9. As for Foothills Christian, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
 Coastal Academy is on the road again  on Friday to play La Jolla Country Day at 4:00  p.m. As for Foothills Christian, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Santa Fe Christian at 3:30  p.m. Santa Fe Christian's pitching crew has only allowed two  runs per game  this season, so Foothills Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
