The Sonora Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 84-40 win over Amador on the road. The victory was nothing new for Sonora as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Sonora's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Parker Moore, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Edwards, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists.
Sonora is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Amador, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sonora will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Argonaut at 7:15 p.m. on January 26th. As for Amador, they will square off against Calaveras at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Calaveras focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Friday.
