The Dover Senators will head out on the road to take on the Sussex Tech Ravens at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Dover's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six contests.
Last Tuesday, Dover faced the Eagles in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Dover snuck past the Eagles with a 56-51 win. That's two games straight that Dover has won by exactly five points.
Meanwhile, Sussex Tech's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 52-34 to Hodgson Vo-Tech.
Dover's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Sussex Tech, they dropped their record down to 7-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Dover came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ravens in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 51-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dover since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
