The Carver Crusaders can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 54-15 win over Fairhaven on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Carver.
Carver found their leader in underclassman Josie Helms, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Helms hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Eaton, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds.
Carver's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Fairhaven, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carver won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mashpee at 6:30 p.m. on January 12th. As for Fairhaven, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Seekonk at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
