The Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Valor Academy, falling 54-27. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Lake Balboa College Prep has suffered since December 6, 2023.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was TYRONE NASIBIAN-WINBORN, who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points NASIBIAN-WINBORN has scored all season. ARTURO PELAEZ was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Lake Balboa College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Valor Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Balboa College Prep will take on New Roads at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Valor Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology at 5:00 p.m. on January 24th.
