Hatboro-Horsham is 1-9 against Upper Dublin since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Both teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hatboro-Horsham will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 472nd, while Upper Dublin is ranked tenth).
Last Friday, Hatboro-Horsham came up short against Quakertown and fell 59-48.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Ryan Smith, who scored 12 points along with six assists. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for him. Shane Phillips was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Upper Dublin's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 64-57 to Plymouth Whitemarsh. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Hatboro-Horsham has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Upper Dublin, their loss was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 5-1.
Hatboro-Horsham came up short against Upper Dublin in their previous matchup back in February, falling 40-33. Can Hatboro-Horsham avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
