Durham is 1-9 against Hamilton since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Durham Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Hamilton Braves at 3:15 p.m. Durham is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Durham sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Paradise. The win was just what Durham needed coming off of a 6-0 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Hamilton's last match on Wednesday was all defense as neither team scored a goal. Neither they nor Redding Christian could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Hamilton has been dealt a draw since back in January.
Durham's victory bumped their record up to 2-6-1. Hamilton's draw makes their record 5-12-2 on the season.
Durham came up short against Hamilton when the teams last played back in January, falling 3-1. Can Durham avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
