Tuscarora is 8-2 against Heritage since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Huskies are taking a road trip to challenge the Pride at 6:30 p.m. The last three games Tuscarora has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Thursday, Tuscarora needed a bit of extra time to put away Dominion. They had just enough and edged out the Titans 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won three in a row.
Ian Sullivan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Tuscarora is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 3-8 otherwise. Sullivan was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Michael Kozikowski was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one run and one double. Tuscarora is 2-1 when Kozikowski posts three or more hits, but 3-8 otherwise.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Heritage, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Loudoun Valley on Thursday, sneaking past 5-3.
The team relied heavily on Erick Flores, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Cooper Miskelly, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI.
Tuscarora pushed their record up to 5-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Heritage, their record now sits at 5-9.
Tuscarora came out on top in a nail-biter against Heritage in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
