Pioneer Valley Regional put another one in the bag  on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Palmer Panthers with a sharp  16-4 win. Fans of Pioneer Valley Regional have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout.
  Alex McLelland was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   five  hits. McLelland was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news, Pioneer Valley Regional got a  massive  performance out of  Ben Werner, who  scored two  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Evan Tsipenyuk, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
 On Palmer's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Dylan Holbrook, who  went 2-for-4 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sebastian Mayberry, who  went 2-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Pioneer Valley Regional pushed their record up to 6-0 with that  victory, which was their 11th straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Palmer, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
 Pioneer Valley Regional will be playing at home against Turners Falls at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Palmer, they will head out on the road to  face off against  South Hadley at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
