Burges waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They managed a 37-33 win over The Woodlands Highlanders.

Despite the loss, The Woodlands still got an impressive performance from Isa Alaniz, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kasyn Pino, who had seven points.

Burges' victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for The Woodlands, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.

Burges wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 74-13 win against Ysleta on the 10th. As for The Woodlands, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-41 victory against Oak Ridge on the 13th.
