Softball Recap: Lincoln Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

While Lincoln put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Providence Academy. The Wolves were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Patriots. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by seven runs or more this season.

Lincoln has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Providence Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-6 record.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will face off against Life Way Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Providence Academy, they will take on Elkins at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
