Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Heritage Academy). They never let the Imagine Prep Coolidge Eagles get on the board and left with a 29-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Heroes, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Micah Figueroa looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Heritage Academy let Conrad Reichard and Elliott Cahall run wild. Reichard went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and four RBI, while Cahall scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Russell Miller III, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one triple.

Heritage Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .684. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Imagine Prep Coolidge only posted an OBP of .111.

Heritage Academy pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.8 runs over those games. As for Imagine Prep Coolidge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage Academy will challenge Canyon State Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Heroes are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Imagine Prep Coolidge, they will head out on the road to square off against East Valley Athletes for Christ at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
