Whitehall dropped their record down to 13-5 on Thursday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They lost 12-6 to the Emmaus Hornets. The Zephyrs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 6-5.
Donato Brigidi was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Zack Schaedel, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.
As for Emmaus, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.
