The Panther Creek Catamounts took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They claimed a resounding 69-9 victory over Enloe at home. For Panther Creek, this counts as revenge for the 52-48 defeat Enloe walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2014.
Panther Creek had a senior duo take command as Taylor Barner scored 23 points along with 7 steals and Olivia Tucker scored 17 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sasha Boddie, who scored 9 points along with 10 rebounds.
Panther Creek's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Enloe, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Panther Creek will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Richmond at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st. As for Enloe, they will head out on the road to face off against Clayton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
