Leading Meadowbrook Academy to victory were Gaige Daugherty and Tico Smith. Daugherty scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Smith scored 31 points along with three steals. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least a third of Meadowbrook Academy's points. Orion Grayer was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 12 rebounds and two blocks.
The win makes it two in a row for Meadowbrook Academy and bumps their season record up to 12-6. As for Cornerstone Academy, their defeat was their 11th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-10.
Meadowbrook Academy will head out on the road to face off against Real Life Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
