The Carter Cowboys scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Pinkston with a sharp 64-40 victory. Carter has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 24 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Tyari Ray, who scored 33 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Miracle Thomas, who scored 12 points.
Pinkston's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaliyah Spencer, who scored 21 points. Cenaya Calhoun- jingles was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 15 points and nine steals.
Carter's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Pinkston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-23.

Lincoln presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Cowboys in Texas (the Tigers are ranked 88th, while the Cowboys are ranked 734th). As for Pinkston, they will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Dallas has now lost 12 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
