The King Jaguars will face off against the Yorkville Christian Mustangs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
King had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 67-point drubbing they dealt EPIC Academy on Wednesday. The Jaguars claimed a resounding 90-23 win over the Legends. The Jaguars not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 9th (when they won 83-12).

Terrel Keys
| 11/26/25 vs EPIC Academy | 88% |
| 11/25/25 vs De La Salle | 50% |
| 11/24/25 vs Benet Academy | 50% |
Terrel Keys went supernova, going 7-for-8 to rack up 19 points and seven assists. He has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season. Corey Wellere Jr was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.
They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: King was working as a unit and finished the game with 27 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.
Meanwhile, Yorkville Christian came up short against Saint Ignatius College Prep on Wednesday and fell 84-76. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (70), the Mustangs still had to take the loss.
King will have to contain Jayden Riley as he made an impact in Yorkville Christian's last game. He shot 52% from the field on his way to 38 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Tray Alford, who went 5-for-9 en route to 15 points.
Having lost for the first time this season, Yorkville Christian fell to 2-1. As for King, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest-scoring teams around. King hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 62.7 points per game. However, it's not like Yorkville Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 68.3 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more.
King suffered a grim 84-64 defeat to Yorkville Christian in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Riley, who shot 61% from the field to rack up 35 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Now that the Jaguars know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
