Odyssey Charter School is 0-8 against Bayside since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. Last Tuesday, Odyssey Charter School strolled past Halifax Academy with points to spare, taking the game 38-23.
Odyssey Charter School found their leader in underclassman Talyssa Hilaire, who scored 15 points along with nine steals and six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Hilaire scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christiana Patterson, who scored ten points along with five assists.
In what's become a running theme this season, Bayside gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They blew past West Shore 46-10 at home. The squad ran away with 37 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.
Odyssey Charter School has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for Bayside, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Odyssey Charter School was dealt a bruising 48-8 defeat at the hands of Bayside in their previous meeting back in December of 2023.
