Holy Names Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victor by a 13-4 margin over the Nathan Hale Raiders on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Holy Names Academy in their matchups with Nathan Hale: they've now won seven in a row.

Bella Garcia was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Lee Smedstad was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while going 2-for-4.

Holy Names Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nathan Hale only posted an OBP of .375.

Coming up, Holy Names Academy will face off against Shorewood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nathan Hale, they will take on Bethel at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
