Clover came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eastside Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Clover didn't let Eastside take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 29-27.

Clover's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Eastside, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Clover will face off against Rock Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Blue Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Eastside, they will take on Bridges Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
