Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy). They came out on top against the Byron Eagles by a score of 68-60 on Friday. For the Sentinels, this counts as revenge for the 66-42 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

The victory made it two in a row for Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy and bumps their season record up to 2-4. As for Byron, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy and Livingston Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Byron, they will be home for the holidays to greet Mt. Morris at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mt. Morris knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Byron likes a good challenge.
