Nottoway gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 31-13 win over the Goochland Bulldogs. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 35-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Anton Carter Jr. went supernova, rushing for 157 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. Another rusher making a difference was Daveon Pettis, who rushed for 67 yards and one score.
