Curtis Tucker Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Antioch's Curtis Tucker, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tucker rushed for 168 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (103.1). He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making four total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Tucker must have Freedom's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Tucker saw the Falcons), he rushed for 133 yards while picking up 8.3 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown.

A Season-Best Performance from Sage Robertson Leads Liberty over Deer Valley
Sage Robertson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Liberty to the win on Friday. Robertson threw for 251 yards and six touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.
Liberty has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Robertson and Liberty will take on Pittsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jamar Searcy Dazzles in Pittsburg Win
Jamar Searcy's big game helped extend Pittsburg's winning streak to three on Friday. Searcy turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 96-yard run.
This season, Searcy has averaged 17.1 receiving yards per game.

Big Game from Bell As Liberty Won 42-7
The second Liberty player making an appearance here is Jaxon Bell, and for good reason. He picked up 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 115 yards on only 14 carries. His longest reception was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.
This season, Bell has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 47.3 receiving yards per game.

Da'mahn Miller Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Da'Mahn Miller of Freedom. Miller made 12 total tackles (5.0 for loss). Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 5.7 total tackles per game.
Freedom is on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Miller will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Heritage on Friday.
