Round Rock has won seven straight games at home, while Georgetown has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Dragons will host the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Round Rock won the last time they faced McNeil and Isa Cordaway-Dreier did her part to make sure it happened again. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mavericks on Friday thanks in part to Cordaway-Dreier, who had 11 digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Round Rock took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-7, 25-11.
Round Rock's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aubrey Goode, who had 13 assists and three digs. Georgia Pinter also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Georgetown and Weiss had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wolves on Friday, sneaking past 3-2. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Wolves on their court since September 19, 2020.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Georgetown who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-18, 17-25, 25-19, 27-29, 15-13.
Georgetown's win came from a few key players Round Rock will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jordan Pitkethley, who had 16 digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests.
Georgetown's victory bumped their record up to 28-11. As for Round Rock, their win bumped their record up to 36-8.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Round Rock hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 4.2 blocks per game. However, it's not like Georgetown struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5 blocks. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Round Rock was able to grind out a solid victory over Georgetown when the teams last played back in August, winning 2-0. Do the Dragons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
