After three games on the road, Mountain View-Gotebo is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Cordell Blue Devils at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, Mountain View-Gotebo was beaten by Carnegie 75-14. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mountain View-Gotebo has scored all season.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Cordell, who are still winless after their sixth game. They took a 60-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Geary last Friday.
Mountain View-Gotebo's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2. As for Cordell, they bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Mountain View-Gotebo didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Cordell in their previous meeting back in January of 2021, but they still walked away with a 54-48 victory. Will Mountain View-Gotebo repeat their success, or does Cordell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
