Choctaw County has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Aberdeen Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Choctaw County came up short against Lamar and fell 58-49.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Aberdeen, who are still winless after their seventh matchup. They took a serious blow against Okolona on December 2nd, falling 50-12. Aberdeen was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-8.
Choctaw County's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Aberdeen, they bumped their record down to 0-7 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
Choctaw County couldn't quite finish off Aberdeen in their previous meeting back in January of 2021 and fell 31-29. Can Choctaw County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
