The Pascack Hills Broncos lost against the Lyndhurst Golden Bears back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Pascack Hills fell 33-24 to Lyndhurst. While losing is never fun, Pascack Hills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while Lyndhurst is ranked 147th).
Lyndhurst found their leader in underclassman Brooke Harper, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for her. Sam Mayer was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Pascack Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lyndhurst, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Pascack Hills will finish 2023 at home by hosting NV - Demarest at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lyndhurst won't have much time to rest: their next match is against New Milford at 9:00 a.m. on December 28th.
