They blew past Cambridge City Lincoln, posting a 61-24 victory at home. Considering Tri has won three matches by more than 31 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Tri's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kenley Cornelius, who scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds. Cornelius is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last four games she's played. Rylee Boyd was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Tri's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Tri will look to defend their home court on Monday against Blue River Valley at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Blue River Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they will head out on the road to face off against Wapahani at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wapahani will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
