On Saturday, the Meeteetse Longhorns faced the Sundance Bulldogs in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Meeteetse took a 51-32 bruising from Sundance.
Daniel Pina and Ethan Salzman certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Pina scored six points, while Salzman scored eight points along with three steals. Salzman is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
Meeteetse's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Sundance, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Upton the next time they take the court. Sundance will head out to face Upton at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Meeteetse will host them at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
