While losing is never fun, Lithonia can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while M.L. King is ranked 101st).
M.L. King got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kennedy Ruzvidzo jr. out in front who scored 22 points along with three steals. Ruzvidzo jr. is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Bowers, who scored 17 points.
Lithonia has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for M.L. King, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which lines up perfectly with their 15-5 record this season.
Lithonia will look to defend their home court on Friday against Chamblee at 7:30 p.m. Chamblee is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for M.L. King, they will head out on the road to take on Arabia Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
