The Cactus Cobras waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They claimed a resounding 62-28 victory over Estrella Foothills on the road. Cactus has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 22 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Bradey Henige, who dropped a double-double on 36 points and 20 rebounds. Henige is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Hutton, who scored 11 points along with six assists and three steals.
Cactus is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Estrella Foothills, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-17.
Cactus will take on Deer Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Deer Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Cactus likes a good challenge. As for Estrella Foothills, they will head out on the road to take on Goldwater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Goldwater is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
