Given King Abdullah Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Christ Chapel Academy is ranked 279th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Adira Ahmed continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points. The match was Ahmed's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Anas Drissi, who scored 16 points.
Despite the loss, Christ Chapel Academy still got an impressive performance from David Neaves, who scored 28 points along with eight rebounds. Neaves scored a full 50.9% of Christ Chapel Academy's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Moore, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds.
