Despite the defeat, Fannindel saw an underclassman step up: Kalob Runnels scored 13 points. That was a full 56.5% of Fannindel's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Ector is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-14 record this season. As for Fannindel, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.
