In what's become a running theme this season, Union gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past Putnam City, posting a 68-40 win on the road.
Edmond Memorial's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Union, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.
Edmond Memorial came up short against Union in their previous meeting back in January, falling 59-50. Can Edmond Memorial avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
