Hope Christian Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 49-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the First Coast Christian Knights. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, Hope Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Addyson Wilson, who went 9 for 13 on her way to 22 points and four steals. That was a full 57.9% of Hope Christian Academy's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie McRaney, who put up six points and three steals.

Hope Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for First Coast Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hope Christian Academy will take on Gainesville Christian Community in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, First Coast Christian and Temple Christian Academy will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:15 p.m. on January 6, 2025. First Coast Christian is facing Temple Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Temple Christian Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
