Even though they lost, Halifax didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with nine strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Upper Dauphin Area only tossed four.
Kutztown's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Halifax, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-3.
