The Bisbee Pumas will square off against the Tombstone Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Tombstone will be up against a hot Bisbee squad: the team just extended their winning streak to 11. The Pumas were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over Lincoln Prep on Wednesday.

Sebastian Lopez was a standout: he scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He has been hot, having posted two or more stolen bases the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryceton Meyer, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Bisbee always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .704. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln Prep only posted an OBP of .381.
Meanwhile, Tombstone got themselves on the board against Santa Rita on Monday, but Santa Rita never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 16-0 win. The Yellow Jackets haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Miguel Rincon and Vlad Velasquez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Rincon pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Velasquez struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). What's more, Rincon posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. At the plate, Rincon scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Velasquez scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
In other batting news, Sasha Webster was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Trey Franklin was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1.
Bisbee's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Tombstone, their win bumped their record up to 16-6-1.
Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bisbee has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .534. However, it's not like Tombstone struggles in that department as they've averaged .462. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bisbee skirted past Tombstone 4-3 in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Pumas repeat their success, or do the Yellow Jackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
