The St. Mary's Lancers won against the Olean Huskies on Friday with 73 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. St. Mary's took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 73-35 win over the Huskies. The win made it back-to-back wins for St. Mary's.
St. Mary's was led to victory by Griffin Smith and Israel Wilson. Smith scored 11 points along with two steals, while Wilson scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Corcoran, who scored seven points along with two steals.
St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Olean, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Mary's will take on the Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Park School of Buffalo has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 4. As for Olean, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Gators at 7:30 p.m.
