IDEA Frontier College Prep took a 54-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of IDEA Sports Park on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to IDEA Frontier College Prep of the 83-66 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
IDEA Frontier College Prep lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alejandro Maldonado, who scored 17 points. Victor Mendez was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds.
IDEA Frontier College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for IDEA Sports Park, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. IDEA Frontier College Prep will take on Monte Alto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Monte Alto is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. IDEA Sports Park on the road again on Tuesday and play against Santa Rosa at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Santa Rosa will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
