York came out on top against Proviso West on Monday thanks in part to Kayla Winters's efforts. Winters scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Coming up, Winters and York will challenge Lyons at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The last time Winters duked it out with the Lions (back in May of 2024), the Dukes came out on top by a score of 8-7.
