The Fenton Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Linden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Linden will be up against a hot Fenton squad: the team just extended their winning streak to seven. The Tigers put the hurt on Anchor Bay with a sharp 11-5 win on Saturday.
Abby Golen made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ally Turkowski, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Izzy MacCaughan was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.
Fenton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in seven consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Linden got themselves on the board against Kearsley on Thursday, but Kearsley never followed suit. They blew past the Hornets 12-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won eight games in a row.
Linden let Addi Siegwald (2027) and Morgan Piotrovsky (2025) run wild. Siegwald (2027) went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one RBI, while Piotrovsky (2025) went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Helm (2025), who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Linden pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Fenton, their record now sits at 13-1-1.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Fenton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .453. However, it's not like Linden struggles in that department as they've averaged .380. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Fenton's way against Linden in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Fenton made off with a 13-3 win. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
