The Faith Christian Lions lost against the Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Faith Christian took a serious blow against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, falling 75-25. While losing is never fun, Faith Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1391st, while Western Sierra Collegiate Academy is ranked 406th).
Faith Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with that win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Faith Christian will face off against Buckingham Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Cristo Rey at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th. Cristo Rey is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
