Dyer County was the  11-0 winner over Tipton-Rosemark Academy when they last played one another  last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Dyer County Choctaws fell just short of the Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels by a score of  12-11 on Monday.
Dyer County got a good showing from  Ethan Beyerbach, who   tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   five  hits.
 On the hitting side, Dyer County got a big performance out of  Everett Kuykendall, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave  Kuykendall a new career-high in  RBI (two).  Talon Messer also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
Dyer County's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.
 Looking ahead, Dyer County will be taking part in a tournament against Christian Brothers  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, they will host Scotts Hill  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
