Sterne will head out on the road to take on the KIPP SF College Prep Phoenix at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Sterne had to start their season on the road back in December of 2023, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 42-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Burton.
Meanwhile, KIPP SF College Prep put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past June Jordan School of Equity 77-32 on the road. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for KIPP SF College Prep considering their one-point performance the game before.
KIPP SF College Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sanjay Jagdish out in front who scored 28 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Syncere McDowell, who scored 23 points.
Sterne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for KIPP SF College Prep, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.
