If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Kettle Run. On Friday they take on Fauquier at 7:00 PM. Kettle Run are cruising in on a six-game winning streak while Fauquier are stumbling in off of five consecutive losses.
Last Friday, Kettle Run put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They blew past Millbrook 44-22. Senior Gabriel Chumley, who passed for 211 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Kettle Run's success.
Meanwhile, Fauquier came up short against Handley, falling 6-13.
The last time the two teams met, Kettle Run won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Fauquier 21-20. Will Kettle Run repeat their success, or does Fauquier have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
