Brennan Lindner Turns in Season-Best Effort
Brennan Lindner produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pleasanton to the win on Friday. Lindner rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Big Game from Connell As Sandhills Valley Won 26-22
Sandhills Valley took down Arcadia/Loup City on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Leyton Connell's performance. Connell turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 73 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 75 yards and two touchdowns.
On the year, Connell has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 143.1 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 4.14 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 51.57 rushing yards.

Aj Starr Makes It Two for South Loup
The second South Loup player making an appearance here is Aj Starr, and for good reason. He picked up a sack and made 17 total tackles. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 50 yards.
