The Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They really took it to Meyersdale for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-37 victory on the road. The victory was nothing new for Berlin Brothersvalley as they're now sitting on 11 straight.
Berlin Brothersvalley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Craig Jarvis out in front who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Pace Prosser, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Despite the defeat, Meyersdale saw an underclassman step up: Matthew Hainsworth scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Gavan Steinberg, who scored six points along with two steals.
Berlin Brothersvalley pushed their record up to 14-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Meyersdale, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
Berlin Brothersvalley will be playing in front of their home fans against the Campers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Allegany has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 855 points over their last 13 games. As for Meyersdale, they will head out on the road to take on the Huskies at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Northern presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Red Raiders in their respective states (the Huskies are ranked 213th in Maryland, while the Red Raiders are ranked 727th in Pennsylvania).
