The Lanham Christian Lions can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They claimed a resounding 93-64 win over Bethel Academy at home. Winning may never get old, but Lanham Christian sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Lanham Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Diego Joy out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Joy pulled down eight or more rebounds. Tre Ray was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds.
Lanham Christian pushed their record up to 16-3 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.8 points per game. As for Bethel Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Lanham Christian has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on February 5th. Bethel Academy will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st.
