Softball Recap: Seaholm Has No Trouble Against Berkley

Seaholm won the last time they faced Berkley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Maples were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Bears. The result was nothing new for the Maples, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Seaholm is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Berkley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Seaholm didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-1 win against Grosse Pointe South on the 19th. As for Berkley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clawson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
