Leading Willow Spring to victory were Korin Gladden and Zariah Burnette. Gladden scored 12 points along with 7 assists and 3 steals, while Burnette scored 19 points along with 7 steals. Another player making a difference was Amanda Mitchell, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Willow Spring and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Holly Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Willow Spring will be playing in front of their home fans against E.E. Smith at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully E.E. Smith focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday.
